Meet the Artist

Adriana Quezada Lopez was born and raised in East Los Angeles, the third oldest of seven siblings. From a young age, she found joy in painting, drawing, and crafting.

She studied Creative Communications in Education at Occidental College and briefly pursued teaching before focusing on raising her four children, instilling in them a deep appreciation for the arts. Over the years, Adriana also studied at the Art Center College of Design, Glendale Community College, and Pasadena Community College. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she enrolled in online courses with the Milan Art Institute, experiencing significant artistic growth.

In 2024, Adriana joined the Monrovia Association of Fine Art, showcasing and selling her work at local Art Walks. Since then, her art has been featured at Farmers' Markets and church exhibits, with her pieces touching the hearts of many. Looking ahead, she aspires to continue creating art that resonates with people on a deeper level, reflecting her passion and connection to the world around her.

A recurring theme in Adriana's work is the imagery of birds and birds in flight-an idea rooted in vivid dreams from her childhood where she felt a profound sense of freedom, soaring through the skies. These dreams serve as a symbolic reflection of her faith in the Creator, and her belief that He will always provide for those who trust in Him. Each piece she creates embodies this sense of freedom and the beauty that radiates from life's unique experiences. Adriana is inspired by the breathtaking diversity of creation, which continually fuels her artistic journey.
